1. Open the Google Maps application from your app library.
2. Now, search for a location in Google Maps by typing the name of a place in the search bar.

4. Select your required location from the list of search results and you have a red pin dropped on the location
5. You can even select a location directly on Google Maps by just tapping on a place

Drop a Pin on Computer/Laptop (Google Maps)

1. Open any browser on your PC and type maps.google.com in the address bar. 
2. The window shows a whole map of the location that you reside if you have enabled the location services
3. Now, you can click anywhere on the map to directly drop a pin in grey on the map and it shows all the information regarding the location.
   
4. Another option for dropping a pin is by searching for a particular location on the map by entering the keywords for the location in the search bar.
   
5. You can find the search bar on the top left of the map, where you can search for a particular location on the map. 
6. The Google Maps will show a cumulative list of search results and you can select a place from the list.
7. After clicking on a location, the maps will automatically drop a pin in red and redirect you to the place that you wanted in a jiff with information about the location.

1. Open Google Maps on your Mobile or Navigate to the website on your browser on PC
2. Click on the Menu icon found on the top left of the screen, right next to the search bar.
3. Select the Your Places option from the Menu’s list 
4. Here, you can see four sub-sections from which you need to select the Maps option.
5. Now, you need to select the Create a New Map option found at the bottom.
6. This creates a new untitled map and opens in a new tab with the name My Maps. 
7. You can change the name of your map and add a distinctive description for the map.
8. Now, click on a particular location on the map and save those pins in the first layer.
9. In the second layer, you can add directions from one pinned location to another by selecting the directions icon.
10. This way, you can create your map on Google Maps with Multiple Pins dropped.
