Honor has finally unveiled its long-awaited Honor 9X. It’s the latest addition from Honor, which sports a selfie camera. Here’s what you need to know about the Honor 9X.

Honor 9X comes with an exceptional design with a shining and reflecting effect, which reveals an X pattern from different angles. The Honor 9X comes with 6.59-inches of Full HD+ FullView display with a resolution of 2340×1080. It’s interesting to know that it comes with a blue light filter.

It comes with the Kirin 710F chipset from Huawei, and the RAM option extends up to 6GB. There’s only one storage option, and it is 128GB. The Honor 9X supports the capability to extend the storage via microSD card up to 512GB.
The central aspect of the phone is the addition of a pop-up selfie camera. It’s the first phone from Honor to bring up the selfie camera. It has a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie camera. The rear cameras are a tiple set of cameras that has a 48MP, 2MP, and 8MP cameras. The 48MP camera acts as the primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, while the 2MP camera acts as the depth sensor. The 8MP camera, on the other hand, acts as a super wide-angle camera with a 120° field of view.
It runs on a 4,000 mAh battery, which Huawei claims to long for a day at least. Although, it is a bummer that it doesn’t come with support for fast charging. Instead, it has a 10W charger straight out of the box.

Honor 9X Price and Availability
The Honor 9X has launched in India today and is available in two variants. One is the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, while the other is a higher variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The base variant priced at Rs.13,999, and the higher variant priced at Rs.16,999.
The device will be available for sale starting January 19 and will be a Flipkart exclusive. The Honor 9X will come in two colors — Saphhire Blue and Midnight Black. Both the variants will be available at an extra discount of 10% if purchased via ICICI Bank cards.
