Honor 60 Pro Launched with Snapdragon 778+, 66W Charging, and More

Honor is gearing up for the launch of the Honor 60 series. The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro smartphones were launched in China on Wednesday at a live event hosted by the company. The Honor 60 Pro 5G will feature a 6.78-inch OLED FHD+ display with 429 PPI.

The new smartphone will come with 8 GB of RAM to switch between multiple apps without any interruptions. The Honor 60 Pro features a huge camera module cutout on the back to the house a triple-camera setup at the rear. Honor 60 Pro: Specifications

The Honor 60 Pro features a 6.78-inch Full-HD OLED display and a 1200×2652 pixels resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate for enhanced gaming experience and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

It runs on a Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. In terms of performance, the handset features Octa-core (1 x 3.0 GHz Kryo 680 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 680 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 680) and Adreno 642L for enhanced graphics. The Honor 60 Pro features an in-screen fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The Honor 60 Pro will run on Honor’s MagicUI 5, which is based on Android 11 on top.

The Honor 60 Pro starts at CNY 3,700 ($580/Rs. 43,500) for an 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage configuration and users can upgrade to 12GB RAM and 256 GB for CNY 4,000 ($630/Rs. 47,000). The Honor 60 Pro will be available in Bright Black, Juliet, Starry Sky Blue, and Jade Green color variants. The Honor 60 Pro will be available for pre-order in China.
