Xiaomi May Announce the Black Shark 4S Gaming Phone with Snapdragon 888 Plus

Xiaomi’s Black Shark Technology company is one of the company’s that started making gaming handsets. Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro have been launched in China recently. According to a blog, Xiaomi will release its next gaming smartphone named Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4S.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 4S Pro gaming smartphone will feature the most powerful chip available in the market. In addition, some leaks have disclosed that Black Shark has been working on a handset before the Black Shark 5, which might feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC under the hood.

Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4S might feature a 6.67 inches Super AMOLED display with a 144Hz high refresh rate and a 720Hz touch-sampling rate along with 1300 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone might sport a display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a PPI density of 395.

The display might sports a hole-punch design, and the cutout feature a front-facing camera. The Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4S will be powered by the Snapdragon 888+ chipset, paired up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

In addition, the smartphone will run Honor of Kings, known as King of Glory, which is a popular MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game in China at 120fps.

According to speculations, the handset model has the codename “KTUS-A0”. The handset also features an SSD for faster performance which makes it better for the gaming experience. The smartphone might feature a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor in terms of optics.

The smartphone might pack a 4,400mAh battery with 120W fast-charging support. The new flagship smartphone might run JoyUI 12.5, which might be based on Android 11. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. The smartphone might feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the phone will feature a lighting effect on the back panel.

The Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4S might be priced at CNY 5,190 (Rs. 60,000) for the base configuration. The smartphone might be available in Sea Black color, Suikong Black color, and Lingguang Gray color variants. Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4S will be released by the end of this year.
