After months of anticipation, Battlegrounds Mobile India’s open beta version has gone live on the Google Play Store for the Android platform. Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has been available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store for a while now, and those who were able to get in as Beta Testers early on are in for a treat.
Currently, the game is not available for all the users; only a select few Beta testers who opted into testing early will have access. This early access is a slot-based system that means you may or may not download the game depending on the slots available.
According to Krafton’s post on Facebook, more slots will be available for the users. The article also claims that the user’s in-game progress and purchases will be stored and available in the final version of the game.
All the users who enrolled for the beta version can download the game through the Google Play Store and experience it. The game is rumored to release on the 18th of June, and many of them got it right. Although Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is indeed out, it is currently only available for a restricted group of users (only those who enrolled for the beta program).
Since the beta version has rolled out, it won’t take many days for the final version to be released. Beta testing usually takes a few days so that Krafton can iron out the bugs and issues before the public release. We now expect the game to launch later this month.
From the Google Play listing, we can confirm that there are few more features of the game. Users will get attractive rewards upon completing the launch event missions. Rewards include a Persian Warrior Turban, Cold Fortune SKS weapon, Yoga Time Top, and Yoga Time Bottom.
It will be exciting to see what Krafton has in store for all the Indian gamers out there and what features will be exclusive to this game version.
