Apple iPad Pro With M2 Chip and More Might Launch Soon

In September, Apple launched new iPhones 14 series, AirPods Pro Gen2, and new Apple Watches, but the company did not launch a new iPad Pro at the event. But now, according to Mark Gurman, Apple is expected to launch its new iPad Pro powered by an M2 chip in the upcoming days.

Apple may launch its new iPad Pro powered by an M2 chip in the next few days, as per Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, who is generally spot on with Apple updates. We also expect the new iPad Pro to have the same design as the last generation. Also, Apple said to be working on new Mac Pro models and a new Apple TV that would come with a new processor and design.

However, Gurman did not speak about the 10.9-inch iPad bringing a refresh, which has been widely anticipated this month. Instead, he talks about Apple’s focus on releasing the iPadOS 16 version for the older iPad Pros and the new ones.

Also, Gurman mentioned that iPadOS 16 would be rolling out on October 24, so we can say that the new iPad Pro is possible in the next few days.

The iPadOS 16 version was showcased during the WWDC 2022 earlier this year, wherein the company introduced the new Stage Manager feature. Plus, this edition shall bring the Stage Manager feature to all iPads running on the M-series chip, including the iPad Air 5th generation version launched this year.

The new iPad Pro with the M2 chipset could bring MagSafe charging capabilities. Furthermore, Mark Gurman even suggested that we could see reverse wireless charging, allowing the iPad Pro to share its battery with an iPhone or AirPods case.

We expect the iPad Pro to arrive before October 27, 2022, when Apple declares its quarterly and yearly earnings. However, no event is scheduled for the launch – the tablets will be proclaimed with a press release on the company’s website.
